I got my drone dx and i didnt have any grease for it, so i went to my local shop to check out what they had there. I got the planet eclipse gun grease to lube the o rings. i know the manual says only use militia but i wanted to get less biased views

Planet grease is dow 33. Its ok but you can purchase the militia V2 lube from link below .

Militia v2 is a far superior lube to PE grease. I would highly recommend ordering some.

You can add a couple of drops of a synthetic gun oil to the dow33 and get by in a pinch, but militia is a far superior lube. It is the best lube out for most spools in general.

planet eclipse grease is not straight dow33... its based off of it as are most greases.

for warrenty purposes i would use the mac dev grease as recomended by mac dev. it works awsome im sure. if you really want to use something else, violent pb jelly would be your best shot, its some really good stuff.
