BKO on/off switch question

Hey I got a BKO from a friend, the gun doesn't turn on so I started to dissemble to see if I could find the route of the problem. I took off the on off switch and trigger frame to find the on off switch was not connected to anything. The only free wire I see is a red one, could someone post a picture on how its supposed to be attached?

the red wire, which is from the battery connector, goes to the center post of the switch. if you need help with any soldering, LMK. i make new ICD wiring harnesses. i also do a frame mod that makes taking the harness out of the gun, a breeze, as i eliminate the roll pins.
