MOAR QUESTIONS

I'm in the process of picking up an Armageddon reg for one of my tanks to put on my X-Mag. 850psi is the output of my tanks now, but I would like 1,000psi.

VetterTech highly recommends the reg and I figured I could trust him. My question is whether anyone else has any experience with this type? Any information would be useful to me.

As I understand, it does NOT have an on/off which I find rather unsettling. Is there any way to add an on/off downstream from the reg?

Ninja makes a normal screw-in reg that goes up to 1000 psi specifically for mag owners. That might be more convenient since you can just use a standard on/off ASA and still get the pressure you want, though it is less adjustable.

I have a Ninja tank that's set to 650 with the shim stack right now. I think it's an LP reg, though. That's also an idea. The Armageddon might tickle my fancy, it might not but I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.

I've got about 5 of them. I've put ball valves on all of mine but you can easily just unscrew the tank portion of the reg from the main body and degas that way.

Another question. Does a CF tank physically attach itself to the reg via threads? Or is there an adapter-type thing that screws into the tank, and then screws into the reg? I can't seem to find any in-depth pictures of this thing and it makes things quite difficult.
