I agree with having food, water, medicine, guns, etc. set aside as a different form of insurance. Same as having fire extinguishers and smoke alarms.

Some people go overboard with it. People can go overboard with anything.

I think the necessity should be water and followed closely by guns/ammo.

Can't live more than a couple of days without water. Guns and ammo can be used for food and most importantly protection.

I have several "prep" items to include guns and water filtration. I even have a gmask but, mainly for last resort. Seriously do you think your canister is going to last through the radiation? ****ing idiots learn about half lives and ****. If a n uke drops game over.
