While getting carried away on craigslist I found an 06 etek for what I think is a good deal. So I had an impulse decision and gave him a call and I will be going to take a look at it on sunday. He has everything needed to test fire the gun but are there any other things I should look for while inspecting the gun?? I got burnt last time I bought a gun on CL so I wanna make sure everything checks out OK. Also, he is asking $150, is this priced right for an etek 1? Thanks.
Basically, just test fire the gun. Make sure the eyes work, check out the bolt for any unusual wear, take a look at the wires by the board to make sure they're in good condition, and finally, $150 is a great price.
Eh decent price. But I'd spend a little extra for better quality. You could get an Etek3 LT for $300 now maybe less. The Etek1 will do the job, but it's so old and outdated. Spend a little more and you can get a more current, parts available, upgradable, superb marker.

I got an Etek3 LT for $270 but I had less than that in it since it came with a 45/4500 tank and a case of paint. I have seen Etek3LT go for 200-250 on ebay so its worth paying a little more.
