HELP! can i use this as dow 33???

Ok so i went to the only hardware store in my college town and they did not seem to have dow grease. So upon internet research i realized that dow 33 is a silicone based, specialty, multi-purpose, ball bearing lube. So i did find a tube of lube made by AGS that is called SIL-Glyde which is a multi purpose all weather silicone based lube and it says right on the back great for bike bearings. Do you think this would work as dow 33?

heres a pic

thanks in advance

Reading the tech sheet, looks more similar to dow-55 in that it could cause some o-ring swelling.

I'd recommend just buying online if the local joints don't have it.

Lots of bearing/air tool lubes will work, and in a pinch you can even use vaseline. But plan on cleaning it all out and possibly changing o-rings when you get the correct stuff. Lots of lubes don't have the proper temperature range/consistency/additives and can cause poor performance or damage o-rings, even those with the same base as Dow 33.

Just order some online. You can find 5.3oz tubes (literally a lifetime supply for a single person) of Molykote/Dow 33 light for $18.

I'm pretty sure Vaseline is a big no-no

People often used it on cocker pnuematics and other parts back in the day. I think planet eclipse actually suggested vaseline in their old ego tech videos.

I don't recommend it, it's sticky and not the best for o-rings. But it will work, I was just making a point.
