i would love to see a threshold type milling. hope that the volume chamber is bigger and longer though. i would pay 850$ for it, i just dont think that the rev-i does worth 850$ in my opinion specially now they have a 7 element board in it and this was a very bad move from DP. they should have been a good business partner and kept APE. they lost a lot of trust from the community when they lost APE since APE has lots of DP supporters.

Finally no micro-line, I wonder if this G5 smaller than the G4 or lighter.

I was experimenting with the stock g4 bolt awhile back by drilling holes just like bolt in picture but the dump distance/bolt stroke looks longer on the new g5 which is good. I did get the stock g4 bolt with 2 holes to run about 145 psi I think. I'd have to go back and read my Thread "what effect would drilling hole(s) in the g4 bolt have" to verify.Found thread. It's under "stock g4 bolt mod" I just did 2 holes, psi 190 due to short g4 open/duration/stroke.

We were able to run a TechT G4 L7 Bolt in the G5 no problems.
Also, The prototypes I have seen, 2 are identical older style with a Black Bolt. The other 2 I have seen are similar to the final models.
The eyes, in the one I have and another guy has are FX type laser eyes. Nothing like the G4 bulb style.
I feel it is lighter and has a great feel to it. Similar to a G3, for some reason I do not think of the G4 when I use this marker.
The board is a whole new style, similar to PE, no battery harness, just slide the 9v in and go play.

DP 40 lube isnt bad with a mix of oil.. 90% DP and 10% gun oil. but you have to service it more often then regular. but i dont know why bother thats why i always have slick honey or monkey poo in my rebuild kit. i heard good things about gun savy and ryan was kind enough to lend me some of his. all three have similar feel IMHO. if DP did switch with the FX eyes then im really gonna so some serious research on those sensors. that size is so hard to find unless i go over seas again, but i dont want to waste my money on that again just to find out its the wrong size.

this is good to know!
though i wish the spec are more specific. like if it uses LP or HP tank (since its a new reg). how many adjustable points on the trigger (since its a new trigger), operating pressure (since its a new bolt), semi adjustable with .5 increment or more descriptive like if its micro switch or reflective beam or break beam (since its a new board). DP needs a good marketing since Chuck is no longer here.
Edit: its not that it would matter to me but i would like to know the barrel bore and lenght
