it would be pointless, and would probably make the pump stroke more prone to binding.

Keep the pump hand strong
|
It will probably function just fine, but chances are it will cause more trouble than good. Unless you need to remove your backblock often for some reason, I can't imagine what the advantage would be.

Hey there!
I haven’t seen this done, but I wouldn’t suggest it. I too think it would cause mad issue with your pump stroke. If you really, really wanted to try it I would say to do it with the new T2 Quad Rod pump kit, because that way you’d still have the secondary guide rod for support. Give me a call if you have any other questions.

Not worth it... i saw a guy at my local field who did it.. he was having Bind issues like crazzy.. after playing 2 rounds he swaped it all back..
