Price drop does not necessarily mean that they're coming out with a new marker. It could just be PE trying to give the Ego 11's a competitive price so that more will sell. Besides, normally a company announces that a new gun is coming out before dropping the price of the previous model. Just my 2 cents. (notice that this is all my personal opinion, i'm not claiming to have any facts backing me)

I used to only shoot egos until the ego 11.. Just wasn't as nice as my others

To put all rumors to rest in these pointless threads about pure speculation the answer is: WE DO NOT KNOW. Price drop could indicate an new ego release but we cannot confirm this until a new marker is announced. In my opinion, the price drop is a way to increase ego sales since that line will remain in production until a new ego is released. To be honest, I give props to PE for holding off on a new marker until they can release something significant. It shows respect for customers instead of coaxing them to buy something new in name only.

No one is complaining about PE not releasing one. We are just excited about the prospect of a new release. This is a PE manufactures ego forum, it's fun to speculate and wonder what the new year will bring from PE in regards to the Ego line. By the way the argument that they will release when they are good and ready is fine but only for so long. I mean when you are the biggest seller of high end markers it is not in reasonable to expect a new model every two years. I am sure PE's marketing machine realizes this and they are pushing for the new market to come out. And let's not forget what this forum is, it's a forum for paintball players to give their opinions and that's all the weight that should be given to it. I mean many of us love to play paintball but cannot do so as much as we may like so we do the next best thing; talk about it. So here we are.
