Moving to CO, looking for info
Hey ballers,
I will be moving to Arvada, this time next month, and I want to get things rolling before I get settled in. I am interested in wooded fields, cqb towns/ and Scenario type play. I do not do Speedball/hyperball/ or anything involving blow up and inflate. I was a have played with a few teams, and I am looking for groups to run with that have good sportsmanship, fair play and good attitudes. Any pointers? Suggestions on where to look? I dont mind using forums off of the nation either.. thanks in advance.

Look into Tunka for woodsball games and check out DMS Scenario paintball. We throw 2 big scenario games a year, with next spring being a band of brothers themed game.
If you feel like making a drive south, give me a yell. I work weekends at Covert Ops paintball in the springs, awesome woodsball field. Every couple of months, we try to do a game at my place. 16 acres and a nice lil cqb town I'm slowly building up.
I'll also second that you reach out to team Anomoly. Great guys and they play all over the state.

719hooligan, Dms Scenario Paintball.... wouldnt happen to be associated with DMS paintball formerly of Martinez, CA? There used to be a store there. I used to play with Washington Tactical Assualt Group (WATAG), who were sponsored by DMS. Thanks for looking me up and helping me out guys, I truly appreciate it. I was intending on visiting Blitz this weekend (i am in Arvada now, making prearrangements), but things got busy.

DMS stands for Dead Muppet Squad, the team I'm on. We are based in Colorado, 28 members strong. We play mostly in state, with the occasional trip for an out of state game. Our team captain, Rowlf, was recently made the Valken Rocky Mountain Corp Commander or something like that. Hopefully it leads to more out of state games for us and more people coming from out of state for our games.
K.D.O.T., I look forward to meeting you out on the field sometime in the near future. I'm easy to find, look for the brass markers and the red hibiscus camo.

Wow, I've been lacking with my thread postage..
Seems like all the info has already been posted/mentioned. Making this post pointless... hmm..
Check out the pictures of Blitz. The new field is outstanding and it should cater to your needs

I also just moved to the area (Erie actually) I am a part of the Feel The Paint Scenario team and am looking for places to play and to possibly get a FTP group started up here. Is Hustle the closest field to Erie?

Hustle isnt a field. Blitz is your best bet, it's the closest for Erie. Good to have you, welcome!

Blitz is a great field for Scenario play and they normally have a good number of people out there playing walk on. Their new facility is absolutely amazing. Dynamic also has a big scenario field that is fun to play as well. I would also say if you want true woods ball you should check out Paintball Adventures down in Sedalia (southern denver) they have some of the best and only woods fields in colorado. Colorsplash down in pueblo may also be an option if you want to get out in the woods, but they are down in Pueblo which would be a further drive for you. I haven't been to PBA or Colorsplash in a while but both places have always had great people to deal with.
The guys over at hustle have a great store and are fun to play with as well. The people at Dynamic's shop are great to deal with as well and much like you I shop for stuff locally and 9 time out of 10 I usually end up buying stuff from dynamic. One of the great things you will find out here especially when dealing with the field and the shops. Is while everyone may not see eye to eye on things all the time, everyone in Colorado seems to be level headed enough to talk things out when problems arise and work together to have the best possible outcome for Colorado paintball.

thanks for the reply Stepchild...
I am used to driving.. I drove nearly an hour to play ball in So Cal, and when I lived in OR, our practice field was 2 hours away. So distance is not a problem. I am a broad shouldered, muscular guy, I dont fit behind inflatables, so for me, I like tall stand ups, MOUT towns, mock villages, and other things to allow me to move a bit. Their are a few elements that I do like about Blitz, but I am a country boy, we do like our wooded play as well. So, with Blitz, I can hone my Hyperball play, and play the mock town and castle, and when I need a breath of fresh air, I will take a visit down to PBA to take a look around there. Since I am a transplant from SD... this snow is gonna take a bit to get used too.. (it snows in OR, but it is a heavier, wetter snow, not powdery like this, and I have been away from OR for about 7 years)
