Images from the 1DX.
Love this thing thus far. The colors, detail and overall image quality is better than anything I have ever used, and I can't wait for future shoots with it.

It honestly wasn't...when compared to the 5D II it was not worth the $5400 price difference. Could handle nice and high ISO, and shot fast, but that was all...so I kept the 5D II, and traded in the 1dx+$400 for the h3D 39+ 35 3.5 lens. Focus is tough to nail, LCD screen sucks, can't shoot past ISO 400, but the IQ, sharpness, dynamic range & control, colors are nice, and the 3x4 view is radical and works well for the portraits I have in mind. Worst case sell it for more than I paid and go back to the 1DX

you'll never push past around ISO 800 without some serious noise issues on any digital medium format currently on the market, definitely meant for completely controlled lighting situations.

Two from today. My white lightning stopped working, hopefully nothing serious, so had to use my bare ringlight

i wholly approve of the switch, if only because of the medium.

The image we are looking for needs to be shot from directly above and feature a model that has a "vintage" or "retro" style.
-1950's pin-up look (lots of make-up, curvy body, pin-up hairstyle)
- matching demographic of attached reference shot
- laying down
- blonde
- wearing a bikini (preferably retro looking)
- full body shot
Sample image had a bright red background like this...would never be my first choice haha
