what barrel should i get??
what up nation im looking for a new barrel/barrel kit. i have had dye ul, stiffi, and a freak and like most of them but i was wondering what i should get now. jj edge kit, sly pro-merc, dye cf boomstick, planet eclipse shaft, etc. which is the best out there.

Just curious but why do you need another barrel? Why not get more backs or tips for the UL or more inserts (unless you have them all) for the freak? I have yet to shoot a barrel that provides more versatility than my freak but if I must choose one of the listed, I go with the CF boomy and then get more UL backs in different bore sized. UL boomies look sexy!

I am going to suggest the lurker eigenbarrel.
It is crazy light, has a ton of small port holes at the tip so it is quiet, has a long control bore so it is efficient, comes in small sizes so it fits your paint and it is cheap.

Macdev shift barrel kits are pretty good. Not to pricey but not the cheapest.

Freak barrel..
Came with my luxe..as they all do.
Got one for my axe as well. The inserts can be changed between any freak system..gotta love that

I shoot alot of barrels and have this list of what I play.
1) Deadly Winds 14" Fiber- by far the silent, light weight, freak insertable, best barrel I've shot.
2) Empire Apex 2 barrel- A way to shoot curve balls 60' to a target. Low cost barrel that works for small fields and woods.
3) Freak barrel (6"-12")- greak barrel with many options, colors, and looks
4) Lurker underbore- Had good success and great failure. The fact you can't match paint to a barrel doesn't appeal to me.
5) Dye ultralights- works well, but not as accurate as a freak insert kit
6) Evil barrel kits- good idea, but the total kit is 12 parts with 2 fronts. It's got to be smaller.

Deadly winds fibur barrel is bored out to use all freak or ss freak inserts and shoot absolutely amazing and only cost 90$ on their site but does not include inserts, shaft 4 is great but limited to bore size, cf boomstick is great but you pay so much for only 1 bore, Sly carbon fiber series is a great barrel kit but stock only comes with larger bore sizes so it can be an issue if using small paint to get the smoothest shot possible, Freak barrels are great but carbonfiber tips or bored out carbon fibers (Deadlywinds) take priority over stock freak barrels, never used a jj or furious lotus.. hope this was a good help

Deadly winds fibur barrel A/C threaded. You can still use your freak inserts, its crazy light, and also very accurate. Plus i like the look of carbon fiber.

+1 on the Deadly Winds Fibur. I have a full Shaft 4 kit and never use it. The DW barrel is just too perfect.
