I live in ohio and never use a .678
personally i would buy the .684 for around here
I usually use a disruptive .686 barrel, seems to be the perfect size for shooting valken paint for me.

They were so cheap I have 2 .684s and 1 .678... The .684s get used most often.

Depends on the application.

Closed bolt, .678 for sure (prevents roll-outs).
Anything else, .684.

Now that i think about it, might order a couple .684 eigenbarrels for semi play (need diff threads for multiple guns). Already got a .678 for pump.

I'd say that it depends on the quality of paint at your local field. We've had some tiny stuff lately .682 and if you're playing in my neck of the woods I'd say go .678. If you're playing with larger paint, then the .684 might be the way to go. If you're not sure, go with the larger size.

I would personally go with the .678, the paint at my field this year has been too small for even my .682

I had a .678 on my old pump to prevent roll-outs. It was a fantastic barrel.

I would buy a 684, but that really depends on the paint you use. A 684 size is more allaround then a 678 though, 678 can be very tiny for some paint. So if youre not sure then choose the 684. Or you can save up another 40 bucks and buy both.

But if I had to choose, i would get the 684.

It depends on the paint you use.

What do you use now?

The simplest answer is to do what I did: Just get both (which is easy, since they're so awesomely inexpensive). Use the .678 for small paint and the .684 if you start breaking balls.

I personally run my .678 all the time because the paint here in Toronto is insanely small for some reason, I even get roll-throughs with it sometimes when testing bags of paint. Most of the time it blows through with a bit of force.

The .684 is great, but it's a perfect paint-to-bore match for me most of the time, which gives crappy consistency. I definitely get a more consistent shot using the .678.
