Crack glass on regulator tank. Still useable?

Hi, I got a Draxxus air 68/45 tank and just notice today that the glass where the regulator will show how much air is still left has a crack in it. I'm wondering does this affect the tank? do I need a new regulator or can I just use the tank without any issue? does air leak from that crack if I was to fill it? Right now the tank got no air in it so I wouldn't know if air will or will not leak and if it is safe to use it or not. Your reply is much appreciated

Should be OK, the lens protects the guage needle. It doesn't have any pressure behind it. If it bothers you, a new guage isn't very expensive. Make sure you have ZERO air pressure in the tank before you replace the guage or do any work on the reg. If the tank is used, it may also be a good idea to have your paintball shop replace all the o-rings in the reg and fill valve.

Yea, I don't see it as a danger, but if it bothers you, or your local field tells you they won't fill it like that, you can get a new gauge.

I have two tanks with broken gauges they make some protective guards for them that I think I should invest in. Lol

Your correct, as someone explained earlier there is no pressure inside that class. They would not use a thin pain of glass if it was being subjected to 3000-4500lbs per square inch of pressure.
