never was a huge fan of geos, hated the geo1, geo2/2.1 was meh, but i fell in love with the Geo3. like someone mentioned before, one of the most natural feeling markers i've ever played with, and it's more efficient than the geo2. I used a brand new non-broken in geo3 with the flow restrictor left at stock and it was as smooth as a well broken in geo2.1.....

I'm working on getting one myself now.

Both the GEO 2.1 and 3 are great guns. I had the chance to shoot a GEO 3 and personally own a GEO 2, which is essentially the same as a 2.1. The GEO 3 with the soft-tip bolt and the solenoid restrictor (or whatever they call it) make it an extremely soft gun to shoot. If you have the extra money, go for the 3. The GEO 2.1 is still an extremely nice gun though and you should have no problems with it.

Not to start a whole new discussion, but what are people buying these for? I know it retails for 1350, but are people buying these for cheaper? Probably a stupid question…

You can find some on here going for around 1050, obviously used. Haven't really seen any, if any, going for under 1K, maybe a few. ANSGear and those other sites like DSSP8NTBALL have the GEO 3s going for 1345. If you are looking at a brand new one and you are a VICIOUS fan or enjoy the milling on the guns you may like the ones on DSSP8NTBALL.

If you want slightly used ones just look around on here and possibly eBay and I am sure you can find one for a better price in awesome condition.

The Geo3 is probably not worth the 1345 new if you can find one used i have a geo2.1 with around 50 cases in it and it shoot buttery smooth and thats with all stock settings. My friend has a geo3 which he picked up lnib and it is a slightly different shot but as far as kick they were the same. so basically its gonna come down to your preference. the 2.1 will never let you down nor will the 3 but if you can get a sexy 2.1 then you will save a lot of money and more money for paintballing. Just my 2cents! good luck.
