the cops at MU seemed pretty cool. i can't remember my friends or anyone getting a ticket for something real minor. the cops there are definitely more worried about keeping things safe and not just writing tickets to be pricks.

our university cops are lazy as ****! they dont walk around, they dont run around, they ride a segway all day and they literally look like paul blart the mall cop! seeing them wear damn helmets is what really makes me laugh!

Anyway, the cops in Philadelphia are there mostly to protect the students. The Cops in State College (Penn State) are there to punish the students.

HUGE on MIP's for underclassmen. They lurk in your dorm area for staggering people or those carrying back a drink. MIP's are issued. 21+ it's actually a different story and let large parties go untouched.

They don't give a ****, we once got caught dumpster diving and were only told to be more quiet. Another time I was smoking in my car, must have looked like a chimney with the sunroof popped, cop rolled right by. Then there was the time one of them told us "I don't really give a ****" while investigating a suspicious activity complaint from a RA because we were working on a friends car behind the dorm at night.

They don't care at IU as long as your not causing trouble. Except on little 5 week. Then, they try to screw everyone over in any way possible. They even bring in police from outside of Bloomington to patrol. It's cray.

we've appeared on campus PD a few times (WSU) but it's basically if you're in the street or walking with a drink then they'll arrest/ticket you, if you're inside and keeping it reasonable they dont really bother

Cops at my school are always just seen in parking lot or at random campus events not doing much. I'm sure they try.. but the one time I've really needed their services they couldn't help me.
My car got broken into with my GPS and other stuff stolen from the console, and when I called their non-emergency line all I got was "sorry, kid. nothin' seen." Considering it's a commuter school, cameras in the parking lot might not be a bad idea...

MSU cops are dicks. They'll pull over and stop and tell you to give up your bag if you're a guy walking around on a weekend night. Girls get away free. They bust parties after one call, and they like to arrest people. That being said it's still a awesome school.

Pretty much how KU's cops are on theft. Lost/someone stole my wallet with $430 cash in it, called the non-emergency line and pretty much was told the same thing. Cash was the least I cared about really. :/ just going through the hassle of getting new cards, insurance card, license, etc was a pain in the ****ing ***. Someone had a nice mid-June Christmas though... >:[

University of Tennessee Police Department has gotten way too ridiculous in the past couple of months. There's shootings and rapes in the the neighborhood next to campus, but all they care about is underage drinking.
