I'm looking to buy this gun and I believe it's a BT TM7. But the owner keeps saying its a TMK7? I don't know if he is wrong, or I am.

Also, how much do these go for now, resale?

upgraded solenoids and the newer ones have the H&k symbol due to licensing issues

Definitely a TM-7, tho looks like the spring on the feedneck is broken. Stamped in selector switch markings, solenoid and locking stock are the main functional differences between the first and later models.

i have a TM-7 with stamped in selector switch indicator in what i feel to be great shape. paid 125 for it, no tank no hopper, with box original barrel original toolkit, manual....

was i had?

also are there any performance differences between first and second gen? if so is it anything that cant be matched with upgrades or do the parts interchange?

No, stamped in is Gen 2, Gen 1 just had the switch positions painted on and they rubbed off very easily.

Apart from the minor differences, there's no performance change between any of the versions. The new ones come with the Mini Solenoid and Adapter instead of the older custom solenoids, which makes them a little less likely to get 'sticky' but otherwise made no difference.
