HK appeals to the exact age group that forms pb's core group of players. They are making it cool and fun to go out and play paintball with your friends. If we dont make paintball cool enough for the masses, we won't succeed in making this sport mainstream.

That doesn't explain how I got in then does it. I am 19, about that age group HK would appeal too. Those "older guys" you are talking about got me into the sport. I feel like this is such an ignorant post.
Yes HK appeals to a younger group and has brought younger guys in, but it is not the sole reason. The veterans did not fail to promote the sport, that is a wild claim. To say they failed is Bull****.
Paintball has always been cool to play with friends. There are many companies who grew this sport wildly. (Smart Parts made the sport cheaper for the recreational and entry level player and begin pushing the bill to get quality entry level markers, they also were a driving force to get Paintball on TV when it was. JT has been around forever and has crossbreed their products well between motocross, paintball and so on to advertise in a brand style. JT Splat Masters are pushing the envelope even further to bring in a younger group then before. ) You can find examples of this all around.
You claim that other companies failed where HK has succeed is bull. HK has done great for the sport, and I applaud them and back them up 100%, but they are not near the only ones.

I'm not sure where you are getting that. HK represents the "get smashed before noon" lifestyle, they just happen to be doing it at paintball events. It is essentially a rolling frat house.
Seen this yet? They are wearing their HK gear which I will say I think the jerseys at least look better just because Empire's have way too much padding.

You all are missing the mark, sure these dudes might like to get ****ed up. But, what they really stand for is the FUN. I know that sounds cheesy as **** but if you're in autopilot doing this **** you aren't doing it right. If hanging out with friends when you aren't playing is bad attitude... i don't want to be good.
Part of the problem in paintball is that too many players want to say that the version of paintball they enjoy is somehow superior than the version other people enjoy. They argue that woodsball has more strategy. Playing with rentals has more participants. Or that speedball is more athletic. Pump requires more accuracy. Magfed is more realistic. Scenario requires the ability to mobilize many players.
I'm sorry to get off topic, but if you can direct me to the players who think "magfed is more realistic" so I can ask them realistic to what? Paintball was fed by ten round tubes in the beginning and then hoppers after that. Paintball is it's own beast. It has never ever ever ever ever simulated war. Props to Dynsasty HK blah blah blah

That's not from World Cup 2011. Those were the early versions of the empire versions from 2011 season. The later versions have dragons on them. And the blue is not like that, it's just the edit that makes it so light blue
