ive never had a problem with premium (gold shell) and for the price its pretty good

The Rockin' Cocks shot GI 5 Star at all the PSP events this year and it shot great! We normally practice with ether the lower end Valken or DXS paint (whatever the field has) and both shoot fine as well, just depends on the batch more than anything.

However with that said we shot Valken Redemption and Redemption PRO at NPPL DC and it was the worst paint I've ever used in 12yrs of playing paintball. Which is odd because we have pretty decent luck with Valken Graffitti and the Fate brands of paint.

Overall though I miss the days when we used Powerball and Proball.

try Valken Redemption Pro (big yellow box, should be light blue shell, yellow fill) It shoots just like the old ultra-evil formula. I'm not a fan of the new regular evil, it bounces more than it use to, provided it doesn't break in the bag .


Favorite large bore: pink/silver Premium (avoid white/gold shell, I've had bags where the fill is as thick as wet sand)
Favorite med. bore: light blue Redemption Pro
Favorite small bore: yellow All-Star
