i doubt it will be passed. it seems as though the only snake problem is in florida.

they already have a national ban on interstate travel of yellow annies green annies afrocks burms and reticulated pythons, what makes you think they will stop there?

is the lacy act just prohibiting interstate transportation or is it just prohibiting transportation? i thought a law about prohibiting boa ownership failed a couple of years ago.

also, anyone know what morph this is?

Lacy means you can't transport or sell an animal a crossed state lines, it didn't fail last time they just only got approval on four of the 12 species of snake, now they want to ban the other 8.

For large snakes like these, it isn't financially reasonable for most people to breed and sell them if they can only do so in state.

So when it comes to red tails, which local's do you guys like the best? I'm not a major fan of most of the morphs, i like high color animals and most of the popular morphs seem to be lacking in that department.

what do you mean by local? as in columbian, peruvian, suriname, etc or morphs?

i really dont know too much about the differences among columbian, nicaraugan, etc but most of my favorite morphs are high colored or just drastically different from the average red tail. these are among my favorites

Yeah like coasta rican red tails are almost black. where as venezuelans are kind of a peach color.



see i don't really care for that ghost / sunglow look, unless they look a lot different in person, they look so washed out in pictures.



I can't find a lot of info on size variance among the differnet locals either. I know with retics the various different locations can mean the difference between a 12-15ft snake and a 18-23ft snake.
