11 G6R lacking to the Luxe?
I'm trying to trade the G6R in sig for a Luxe it's in great condition but all luxe trades are asking for adds even for a 1.0 upgraded. How wrong am I to think that an 11 G6R is similer to a 1.0-1.5 Luxe?

You should have to add just for wanting to get rid of your G6r for a Luxe.

Well my team has been moving toward Luxe and I miss my old one lol I would happily take a 1.0 for it. I know the price don't make the gun I love the G6R and the Luxe but as I said my teams movin toward shootin Luxes so I'm just tradin but I'm broke and figured it would be a good trade straight

Well the luxe costs about 500 more than g6r new. plus 2k11's are now selling for around 500 now. the luxe has a slightly higher value used than a g6r because of that. imho i would keep the G6r unless your team is getting sponsored by DLX. The G6r is definitely better than a luxe in almost every way. the only thing i did like about the luxe was it had absolutely zero kick and was slightly more quiet. but if you happen to get a lp poppet and the premium bolt then the g6r maybe just as smooth as a luxe.

What Trigger Finger said is perfect.
On a second note, you don't necessarily need all of you to have the same guns unless a marker company sponsors you. Do what you please in the end though!

Trade value wise yes the "g6r is lacking to the luxe". As others have said this is due to the much higher MSRP on the gun. Personally, I wouldn't trade unless you have to due to sponsorship but its up to you. Now if it was a nice Marq or something I might be tempted.

the trade value of Luxes isnt high because of MSRP guns that were sold the same years as luxes with similar MSRPs aren't worth anything near what luxes are worth take the ego 8 for example it came out the same year with a 1250 price tag as opposed to the luxes 1500. The reason that they retain there value is because there are so few out there about 8k between 1.0 1.5 and 2.0 there are probably twice that many g6r 11s out there. also there are super minimal differences between the versions of luxes there is a noticeable version between the g6rs thus devaluing the older models

People want you to add because Luxe 1.0s with everything new pull 650-700 while you g6r if stock will pull 500-550. No I did not see your gun in sig.
Hope I helped,
Nick

Shoot whatever feels most comfortable in your hands. Don't worry about what others think or want you to shoot. If you like the luxe, you'll have to add 100-150 for one. If you want a g6r, get a premium bolt and rock peoples faces.
