I have already laid eyes on the rotor version. Looks legit. I called Virtue on Tuesday, I was told they will go on sale a unit on the 27th. I guess that could change depending on the trades being sent in.

I saw a Prophecy version last sunday, it was awesome, the guy who had it sat there and shook that thing upside down for almost a minute straight and nothing came out

CrownSF now shipping

Finally a speed feed with no drawbacks. Heavy duty polycarbonate Spring Fingers reload with ease, spring immediately back into position and keep every ball locked securely inside. When those rain clouds make an appearance, the Spire Crown SF Quick Release back shell allows for changing back and forth from Speed Feed to Lid in mere seconds.

The Spire Crown SF features it’s own built-in hinged lid for easy bag-reloading in the pits and button-locking mechanism to prevent it from ever opening accidentally on the field. When those rain clouds make an appearance, the Spire Crown SF Quick Release back shell allows for changing back and forth from Speed Feed to Lid in mere seconds.

Reload with ease and and never lose paint. The Crown SF is based on the upgradeable finger Crown2 platform and features Spring Finger technology. The Crown SF is the pinnacle of speedfeed evolution. Instead of a rubber hinge, each Crown SF finger is attached to a feather light spring, allowing it to flex downward with the slightest touch and immediately spring back to the closed position. This allows a perfect feed, with no paint loss.
  • Effortless Reload
  • Never Lose a Ball
  • Quick Release Backshell Included
  • Heavy Duty Polycarbonate
  • Button-Lock Lid
  • Lifetime Warranty

Info on the Spire Crown2 trade-up program can be found in the "Loader/Hopper" section of our site.

Im sure its been said like 1000 times already but damn $45? I don't usually ***** about prices I was one of the few not *****ing about the spires retail price with the crown2. And if this was $35 like the crown2 I wouldn't be *****ing but that extra $10 has kinda made me think its a bit much.

It's expensive, but it also comes with a lifetime warrantee.
If the fingers snap, or the lid was stepped on, virtue is going to cover your for it, rather than having to buy another.

I might make a video, but like everyone says, it's amazing and truly revolutionary. To put it simply, it's a lid that happens to let paintballs in while closed. It's awesome, and I'm probably going to pick one up for my brother's Z2, and my back up rotor!

A normal speed feed consists of one to three parts depending on the model. Each of those parts necessarily have some cost. The Crown 2 has 12 parts, so that would cost more. Each finger on the CrownSf has 4 parts and each finger requires assembly. Not including assembling the final adapter together. That all costs something. We give it a lifetime warranty to help alleviate some cost concerns on the player side, but the fact is this is by far the most costly speed feed in the world to manufacture.

On a side note, consider how much paint you save and if you pay for your own paint this speed feed will pay for itself in no time. If your sponsors buy your paint suggest they buy one of these for you to save on their paint budgets

I really can't help but question durability at the hinges of the fingers when shot from close range. The lifetime warranty is nice, but I don't have to worry about the fingers breaking off of the rubberized speedfeeds I've used.

I've never seen a rubber speedfeed where a finger couldn't get broken off from a "just in the right place direct hit". Heck, even some hoppers and goggles can fail from a lucky "just in the right place direct hit".

These fingers have been shot, and are very durable. But like anything it can be broken. Not saying it's likely to happen with high frequency, but paintball is pretty brutal on any piece of equipment.

That's what I was looking for. I may pick up a Z2 version if/when it comes out. Thanks!

Chris, this speed feed is legit. Got the chance to mess around with it at cup. Was great. Easy spring tension but not that the fingers would sag. Light touch made them collapse. Ill gladly drop 45$ but it has to be for z2

doubt that.

This speedfeed seams appealing, but im still worried about its durability.

Id be willing to sacrifice a little bit of paint spillage over not worrying about the fingers breaking off, which would then allow it to spill paint like most other speedfeeds until it is fixed.

Im gonna see how it turns out once it gets in the hands of some people after a couple months. Definitely still planning on buying a spire though.
