Z2 indoors
Anyone had any problems using these indoors?
I don't have any issues outdoors, but I seem to get overfeeding/jams indoors. I think that mine are being a bit sensitive to the extra echos/noise indoors.
Anyone have any setting suggestions?

Regular paint. I shoot outside and its fine, indoor it gives me issues.
I'm going to turn the sound sensitivity down and see if that helps.

^. It would be my only recommendation if there's a lot of echo unless you have the ability to use RF then it wouldn't matter.

Well, I did some testing, and came away with these results (which kept up at 12bps, if you go higher, it won't be as consistent):
Speed: 2
Sensitivity: 3 (angels aren't super quiet)
motor sensing and rf left at stock settings.
Shot 2 and 1/2 year old evil without a problem.

Did more testing, and found out something interesting.
Is the loader is flush on the top of my angel's feedneck, the 5th ball in the stack repeatedly gets hit by the paddles on the drive cone. It is just enough to crack/weaken the shell so that by the time that it does feed, it crushes in the breech. The ball has just enough space to move a little, but doesn't have the ability to stop the paddles, it just keeps getting hit/damaged.
My problem really wasn't indoor related at all, its more of a ball stack height issue. I raise up the hopper about 3/16, and the problem seems to have disappeared.
The paint I was using was small, so I don't know if this played into the issues, but this is a strange problem. Never had this issue with any of my old Halo hoppers, and those were not known for being gentle on paint.
I just wonder how many others are having similar issues with Z2's like this, thinking that the hopper is broken, when its a ball stack issue...

lack of a rip drive, and its heavier than the prohpecy.
the little reverse tab is a nice idea, but I want a manual feed if the batteries or electronics fail. I've won games because of rip drive in the past, it keeps you in the game.
It does look like I'm going to be shopping for new hoppers though, as I did some more testing. Since there is a lack of tension adjustment (only speed adjustment) on the prophecy, its forcing the next ball in the stack to be clipped by the bolt. It doesn't allow for any movement of the paint back up the feed tube like a traditional halo would (because of the drive spring).
Either that, or I'm modding these to have springs like the halos....
