Not at all, its still going to allow you to drop your dwell and psi pressure which will lead to better efficiency which is the entire reason to pick one up. But the lurker barrel will add more plus some consistancy over the chrono

So I did get the barrel before going out yesterday. It didn't work well with the Valken Fate I was shooting, but it shot great with the stock barrel.
Also, does anyone know how the O-rings should be set up? There's a yellow one on the bolt, along with a big flat black one, and another one in the bag. I don't know if I'm doing it right. A pic would be helpful if possible.

I also have this question. If I'm correct the 2 that are the same size are the middle orings? And the smallest is for the front and biggest for the back?

This is what mine looked like out of the bag, along with another o-ring that was loose in the bag. This is how I shot it yesterday.

So i ordered my boss bolt with the o-ring kit for the bolt guide. of course ill be following the recommended starting settings. I just dont get when they say to have the velocity adjusted 1.5 turns out? I know its in regards to the velocity adjuster on the back of the bolt. but how exactly do i know where to go for those 1.5 rotations? Im new to the axe, and i was getting horrible efficiency with the stock bolt, 7.5 dwell, and 190 psi. btw the only thing i currently have on my axe is the redline board, and a .689 sly barrel. Im sure this has been answered before, but I couldnt find anything on it.

Turn the velocity adjuster all the way in till it seats lightly, then back out 1.5 turns.

So i just turn the velocity adjuster all the way in counter clockwise, then 1.5 turns clockwise? What type of efficiency would I be looking to get out my axe with the infamous bolt running your recommended settings with a peanut 45/45 tank? and how does slick honey work with boss orings and the bolts? since that my lube of preference.
btw my bolt comes tomorrow. im stoked! cant wait to get out of work and enjoy my 4 day weekend.

I feel like a total moron. I received my Infamous bolt today and none of the springs seem conical. I've been sliding them on the bolt to see which ones "snap," and it seems as though neither side really "snaps" on.
I read through about 15 pages looking through, but didn't see any mention of it.
Can someone fill me in? Are these springs supposed to be conical?

They are that same size at both ends. So no more issues from putting the spring on backwards.

Boss is correct but once your reg is broken in you'll notice better performance gains with a lighter bolt.

About to give this a shot. Been tweaking with the Lurker bolt for a bit and wanting to give this a shot too. Looking forward to it.

Got my bolt today and infamous bolt guide orings. First shot was 315. I was confused. Shot two more and got 263, 262. Guess ill have to up the pressure a bit till things are broke in.
Using stock boss settings and short spring. Couldn't do much testing at the apartment.
Really excited for more testing.

I would say you might be able lower pressure due to higher fps.
I'm going to tune eventually and will report back on settings.
But I thinks the different bolt guide orings last longer and might increase your FPS slightly.
