Watching that video, it sure sounds different. Sounds for the worse, more 'pingy'.

Would this bolt make it easier on brittle paint?

It's was 45ish here in the Northeast... I was chopping paint today with it... But I then switched to winter paint and it was perfect

well i shot my etha today with the new bolt and was very surprised witht he results........... first of the bolts weight amazed me or should i say lack there of, shot about a case with the new bolt and right out the gate felt a big reduction in kick. when i was done for the day i started playing around with the dwell a little, started at stock 12ms dwell at 285+- 3 fps and ended with the dwell at 8ms with 285+-3 fps........ i didnt pay to much attention the efficiency so i cant comment on that but being that i dropped 4ms in dwell i figure it should go up a little bit atleast. so all in all ill give a thumbs up for the bolt, little high on the price but does show noticeable improvements over the heavier stock bolt......

I finally got to play with my new bolt yesterday. I left the stock bolt in and played a little and switched to the Techt bolt so I could directly compare between the two bolts. First thing I noticed was how much smoother the Techt bolt made the marker feel while shooting, pretty remarkable smoothness compared to stock. Next I checked new bolt on the chrono. I had the stock bolt at around 285-290 and just dropping in the Techt it went to 310. I didn't do an efficiency test as I just wanted to play. I had no problems ramping or fully cycling. I did break some paint but I considered that was due to using some old brittle Evil on a cold day that was breaking in my Geo2.
So far the bolt seems very solid and nice little addition to my marker.

For the last two posters, did the bol reduce your sound signature a noticeable amount too?
