With another 2 weeks to go for MY-NPL'12 Season Grand Finale. The year 2012 has been an eventful one for MY-NPL. For this year we have implemented some major characteristics the PSP race format for all divisions in MY-NPL and it has been proven to be a competitive and exciting format. In line with MY-NPL’s affiliation with Paintball Sports Promotion (PSP), we will be implementing the full PSP race format for MY-NPL Cycle 8 for the year 2013.

As the only Asian Paintball league to be affiliated with the PSP, we hope to retain the standard and philosophy of MY-NPL while providing players with the excitement and degree of competition that has been a hallmark of the PSP. We also pride ourselves as the tournament with the largest sum of prize money offered, while continually keeping close with our players to be a player’s friendly league and providing the best reffing experience and tournament infrastructure.

From 2013 onwards, all players with records of playing history with MY-NPL will have their player status reviewed by the secretariat and updated under a new system to be introduced by the American Paintball Players Association (APPA). Players will be able to register themselves and teams on the website to check their player status and their team’s ranking online.

We will be updating with more information in regards to the details of the PSP format and APPA for the the 2013 season of MY-NPL soon. With these new updates to our distinguished league, we hope for your continued support and in return we will be providing everyone with a tournament series like no other.

MY-NPL HQ & Malaysian Paintball Academy (MAPAAC) are pleased to officially release the tentative venues & dates and divisions & fees for the MY-NPL'13 season & all its' related tournament.

Venues & Dates for the Malaysian National Paintball League 2013.

MY-NPL '13 (Event #1)
Venue: MAPAAC, Kompleks Sukan Astaka, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Date: 2nd - 3rd February 2013

MY-NPL '13 (Event #2)
Venue: Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall, Malacca. -(Turf)
Date: 27th - 28th April 2013

MY-NPL '13 (Event #3)
Venue: MAPAAC, Kompleks Sukan Astaka, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Date: 6th - 7th July 2013

MY-NPL '13 (Season Grand Finale)
Venue: Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall, Malacca. -(Turf)
Date: 19th - 20th October 2013

The MY-NPL Divisions in 2013

In 2013, Semi-PRO till Division 3 will be playing in PSP Race format! While Division 4 will maintains as Super5 format. PSP Race is to further enhance the development of Sports Paintball in Malaysia according to world PaintBall climate.

For Division Semi-Pro & Division 1 only. Each Team will consist of ten (10) active players on their roster and shall field a maximum of five (5) players in every game.

Division Semi Pro -Race to 5 in 12 minutes
Electronic markers with PSP Ramping mode allowed, Cap @ 12bps.

Division 1 (Amateur) - Race to 4 in 10 minutes
Electronic markers with PSP Ramping mode allowed, Cap @ 12bps.

For Division 2 & 3. Each team will consists of eight (8) active players on their roster and shall field a maximum of five (5) players in every game.

Division 2 (Novice) -Race to 3 in 8 minutes
Electronic markers with PSP Ramping mode allowed, Cap @ 12bps.

Division 3 (Rookie) -Race to 2 in 6 minutes
Electronic markers with PSP Ramping mode allowed, Cap @ 12bps.

For Division 4 only. Each team will consists of seven (7) active players on their roster and shall field a maximum of five (5) players in every game.

Division 4 (Young Gun)
Open to all Malaysian new players & teams with NO tournament records
Only Mechanical markers are provided/allowed.
