I don't prefer either one, I love them both. Constantly torn between which one I'm going to use each day so usually get them both ready in the pits and swap between them.

Don't get me wrong. When it shot good, it shot awesome. But having to maintain it often, and making sure it was properly lubed or I'd get bolt stick was a hassle. It would shoot through a case all day fine, then randomly one game I would have bolt stick or FSDO. Just wasn't worth it to me. I had a sprung/polished bolt and everything too.

I'm down for just trying new markers! Would you take a Geo 2 over a luxe?

Yes I would. That's my personal preference. The Geo 2/2.1 doesn't shoot as smooth and does have a macroline. But I like its ergonomics better (Luxe is a little long), it's not finicky with lube, same efficiency wise, LCD board (though the talking Luxe IS cool...lol). If you have the money I'd look into a Geo3, lots of people have been liking that over Luxe's now.

the sprung and polished parts were your luxes problem man... you shoot all the lube out of your gun quicker when they are polished and when they are polished they also take a lot more maintenance because of alot of material and anno being buffed out... this of course depends on who did it some people do alot better job then others but stock cores shoot very decent and require alot less maintenance. just my 2 cents
also i have never shot a ego 11 that was even close to my luxe in accuracy or shot quality but thats just my opinion as well

I had Pooty polished and sprung parts. It shot smoother than the stock core and hence why I used it. I had bolt stick and FSDO issues with both cores I had.
All the guns I've shot, accuracy is based on paint quality and bore matching. Shot smoothness is obviously not the same but my Ego11 is pretty damn close.
