Occasionally stuff is going to happen, we all say things we don't intend to. In general, there shouldn't be allot of kids under 12ish on the field, so we're not talking 5 year olds, they've all heard that sort of language before.
If I take a paintball to the neck, I'm not gonna apologize for swearing, but nobody likes that guy that sits in the corner talking like a truck driver...

I feel the same way.
As a ref at a field we encourage people not to curse. Especially when a child is involved.
When a player is hit in a game it is not a big deal but I do tell people to tone it down with kids around.
And make sure that the kids parent knows... Not only do you need to make sure they know the kid is safe but a good atmosphere can make a great day.

Swearing in general is simply unnecessary. Showing some class and keeping yourself in check sets a good example for younger players.

There's rarely an excuse to swear. Unless you've cut some fingers off, gotten shot with an actual bullet, or are being electrocuted, don't cuss. You won't sound like a complete idiot then.

I understand cussing is looked down on, but remember most kids talk like that when they are not around their parents!

Everyone says things in the heat of the moment. That doesn't make it "ok" to curse in front of a kid though.

While it does occur, it's not really "ok." Cursing is part of culture now though, and the words are thrown around so loosely nowadays that you can't really prevent it every-now-and-then.
While it may not be ok; it happens.

Agreed. When your in the heat of the moment you won't think twice. However, the only reason you should reach that level would be if your playing a really good team or if someone shoots you multiple times knowing that your already out. Most likely kids won't do that and if so don't get mad lol they are learning. Mistakes happen.

everyone says stuff when they're upset that they shouldn't. Do I get a jacked up about recball? no. Reigonal events? F*ck yes I do. I spend alot of time in the box because of my temper. does it help my team? not at all. although in 6 matches last year, i spent 0min in the box...maybe i'm gettin old...

I'll agree with this. I remember being in 4th grade and saying some pretty bad words...
