Macro Fitting from a POPS asa

I bought a new pops asa down at cup. And when I put it on the macro fitting was leaking air hard. I know its not just a bad connection to the macro line but rather the mechanical piece inside the fitting must have gone as air is pouring out.

Just wondering if there is any warranty for this fitting or where to buy a new one?

Will any straight fitting work or is there a special one i need to buy?

Thanks!

All u need to do is take the macro line out and the is a small hex key socket I side the macro fitting. Just check that it is nicked up (not massively tight). If it is and it's still leaking air. It will be the small oring on the macro fitting. Check it over for cuts or nicks in it. If its damaged, there will be an oring in your spares kit that will do the job.

I had one of those orings blow out on me where the macro wasn't tight enough.

I forgot to say that the macro fitting unscrews out of the pops asa. It's not loctited in there and the small oring makes the seal on to the pops.

as Frenchy has already mentioned it probably needs tightening down a little, take the macro hose out and put an allen key down the inside of the fitting (3/32 i think, its one of the sizes in the standard tool kit with the gun) and tighten it up, if that doesnt sort it then it may be one of the orings in the fitting, the small one on the threaded part can be replaced with a #006 and the internal one is a 010 which if you dont have you can get from any Eclipse tech center or probably anywhere who services any kind of marker.
there is no mechanical part inside the fitting that can get damaged, it is made of 2 parts, the main body of the fitting and the steel collar which locks the macro line in place, both are very hard to damage and unlikely to cause a problem.

if you cant get it sorted please contact your local Eclipse tech center or Gerry at PE on gerry.b@planeteclipse.com and he will sort you out
