Looking for info and tips on running a VX in colder weather.

I ran my VX in the cold weather over last fall/winter with no problems. I would recommend grabbing some of the new Militia Lube that came out a couple / few months ago as it is very slippery and should perform nicely in cold weather.

You could up your dwell by a couple and if you get any FSDO you can up your ABS a little to compensate.

Again though I didn't experience any issues playing in cold weather with my VX up here in NH where you're from

if the bolt is sticking or you are breaking paint up the dwell to 13-14 range. upping the dwell in spools usually does the trick for cold weather.

Can I mix in a little pe oil with macdev lube to thin it for cold weather

The new lube is good enough you shouldn't have to

Yup the new lube you shouldn't have to, but if you don't have any of it, or any grease that you'd consider relatively thin, then yes you can cut it with some PE oil if necessary.
