If you are an Independent you shouldn't be allowed to play for a national title anyway..... you can pick and choose your entire schedule for a season, which would make it far more likely for you to win out.

If Oregon doesn't show dominance, then they don't deserve to be #1. I'd rather see Bama jump oregon than ND, for the record. But, Bama's wins are not Oregon's wins. Oregon's wins are not Bama's wins.

I like both teams, though. Two extremely different approaches, with good results for each. I like the yin and yang of it.

BYU came after an overtime win against Stanford right before Oklahoma. That is even more of a trap game...

All top 20 when they played them (assuming USC doesn't lose to UCLA). Michigan State has lost all of their conf games by a total of 10 points. Let's not forget they schedule 5-10 years ago when all but Stanford were in the top 2-3 if not the top of their respective conferences (except for Michigan). Auburn in their NC year had nail-biters with Kentucky and Clemson. Mother****ing CLEMSON!

ND wins with defense. They aren't going to have blowouts. After 10 years of Tressel ball I know this to be true.

I'm a florida fan but i will stick up for any sec team that deserves to be in the title game over someone such as ND.

Sounds like a good time to get a good deal. Rates are freakishly low, so that's good for you if you're confident you'll be in the area a while. We bought a 4.25% with 10% down in 12/11, and rates are even lower than that now.

It is called SEC bandwagoning. Nothing new for your conference. I'd be more worried about losing to FSU which knocks you out of the BCS bowls than Bama's outside shot of getting into the BCS after they lost.

Is Bama a better team than the other 3? I've already said my opinion is they are. They shouldn't have lost though. Brag about your conference being the best in the land and then ***** when your #1 team doesn't come out unscathed.
