I have used many kits. Dark, stiffi W/python kit, sniper, UL, and my 2 favorites are dark and stiffi with python kit because of varies bore size. U can never go wrong wih a CF barrel and I love the dark signature. I have my sniper kit as a back up, but Dark as my primary using .685

I have a freak kit and that works pretty well. I just like light things and am looking into the DW Fibur where the Freak inserts work just fine but I get the one piece with the light swing.

i always go with what you can afford...blowing your budget on a barrel will mean you will not have any $$ left for what's really important --- TIME PLAYING ON THE FIELD WITH GOOD PAINT!

look for a barrel system that will allow you to paint-bore match effectively..

i have my own personal preferences that's why I went with FREAK SYSTEM, SANCHEZ MACHINES3 ORBIUM1, DISRUPTIVE BARRELS and the ol' school KANER...

check the stickies in the discussion forum on barrels to see the +/- of every system!!

I use a Freak with the .682 almost exclusively and shoots ball on ball 90% of the time, if it's hot or the humidity is high, I go up to the .684 insert.
Funny you say that, because the information provided is by players and those who help fab the barrels. Also, if you would of spend an extra 30 seconds on reading this forum you would of saw I pointed out that I underbore and use a 680 all the time and that I believe underboring is the best. However, when people start to throw off how barrels make your gun more accurate or how rifling is better and such, I just cringe. However, if you wanted to listen to that, enjoy!

i live in chicago (most unpredictable weather in the world) and use a .684 lurker eigenbarrel. crazy light, crazy accurate, crazy quiet, especially for the price. I would recommend checking it out, lurker makes terrific stuff.
