I have both the voice pack and voice pack editor only problem is how do i conver the mp3 to the xml format

make a copy of the voice pack and put it on your desk top... then go to your voice editor and open the file you just made and edit it from there. ensure you rename the XML file and the file name on the desktop to ensure you dont get them confused

to use the stock chick voice just click on New in the voice editor and save the file to desktop, and organize as you see fit

can you explain why there are four 'Voice Select' options when you go to the settings tab in the Luxe USB Interface 2.0 software,
but only three (bank2,bank3,bank4) voice selection slots?

each one can be selected using the joystick.. for ex;

Bank 1 is stock
Bank 2 is Pantera Walk
Bank 3 is Lamb of God
Bank 4 is Santa having sex ....

you load up a file you made into the bank that is empty or re-write over a current one, and can digitally set it to 1-4 on your computer or manually with you Luxe joystick until you hear Voice Select. Select the number you want and thats the voice pack you will have

and I realized only after RE-reading this post that I didnt answer your question... voice bank 1 can never be modified cuz its the factory original, and they did that so no one will erase it accidently.. from what I have been told

I have read around now for awhile but still don't really understand? Is there a way to put a personal message in my own voice if I buy my wife a Luxe 2.0?

It's great having a wife that plays and I would really like it to say when she turns it on " Hello Baby, Are You Ready To Play Some Ball? Don't wanna sound dumb which I'm sure I pretty much do but can I do this on a Luxe 2.0? Thanks in advance

yes, download the voice editor from DLX`s website and as long as your computer has a microphone you can record over and make your own.

just click NEW and save somewhere where you can find it easily, and that will be the one you monkey with.

I was actually looking for this thread now that I have a 2.0 board. The mp3 file cutter doesnt work. It keeps just saving the beginning of the song even though I cut a section in the middle.

I was having that problem as well... I fixed it by using the fader, either fade in your clip or fade it out. That should work, at least it worked for me
