Can you shoot an NT10 without an eye pipe?

Considering you're ball detentes are connected to the eye pipe the obvious answer would be....

that and the eye pipe is the sized for the paintball whereas the chamber is sized for the eyepipe...

You would probably just end up chopping like mad, seeing as how the ball doesn't sit properly in line with the bolt, unless the eye pipe is there.
That has always been my gripe with dye's markers. $20 for a piece of plastic? I won't lie though, that thing is a life saver when you break paint.

It was a legit question bud :]. I asked the same thing a year ago when I got my DM7 (since it was sold with a cracked eye pipe). So long as you don't abuse the gun, those eye pipes will last you awhile. The one in my M7 lasted me about 1.5 years. Finally took it out while inspecting the gun since I traded it off, and found that the front ring of the pipe had come off...clean. How that happened, I don't know. Luckily I had a spare. Hit up Dye and see if they'll send you one.

If you have detents, you can get just the clear eye pipe for $7 from dye or ansgear.. otherwise $20 for a complete eye pipe system.
