Long story short, I need to grout the tile and install the vanity and toilet then it's back to being livable again.

Mornin OT. Found me a white monster this morning. Going to be a good day.
As far as AR builds go, 1000-1200 is really easy to build a dependable AR. It really depends on what you want to do with it though. If you want a good m4 style carbine then you won't really need a bull barrel. If you want a hole puncher, you are going to want the bull barrel, free floated (and of course, lined) No matter what you choose, get the gas piston kit.

Figured I wouldn't get to use it much though.. Was interested in a DPMS kit if I remember right

I wish the army would switch to a piston kit. So many problems with the m16 that are carbon foul related. Even properly cleaned daily, the chances of your weapon jamming during a firefight within your first hundred rounds is pretty much a guarantee. Especially with the environment we fight in.
On a bench or at a range it is not as critical. It's still nice to open up your AR at the end of the day and see little to no carbon fouling.

If I was in the military, they would have to redesign my weapons of choice based on how much ammo would be fired through them.
My entire body workout would be to carry 3k rounds for the MG and still be able to move at the same speed as everyone else.

I think the DAM would be fun to play with. Not going to pay that price for a gun I won't use that often though.

It's probably for the best. He should have had some sort of contact information in a signature line about what he does, and how to get in touch with him for stuff and things.

and about your being in the milatary, msonic. IDK if you would fit in, its bout 50k rounds fired for one enemy kill. That's a little higher then your ratio of "one case, one kill"
