Hey
I have a Custom Prouducts V2 Regulator, whenever i go to lower the velocity i turn it half a screw and i get no air to my marker all of a sudden, when it's chronoed at 280fps, turning the screw to increase it to 290fps air comes rushing out of the regulator screw hole.
So I am going to rebuild the regulator, not sure on how to tear it down and I cant find a manual or video on how to do it on the new ones?
Help please!
Thanks

thinking of getting a gen3 inline regulator.
1. Are there versions that come with a gauge port, or is there only one version of the reg and the adapter w/port is needed to use a gauge?
2. If I buy one with a gauge port, does it need a gauge in it not to leak, or does it come with a plug?
thanks!

I don't need the fitting. I just need the collar piece before the fitting.

It'll be easier to just replace the entire fitting. They run for less thank $5.00

Hi,
I have an ego 11 and a CP tank reg (V2?) on a crossfire 45/4500. the POPS asa will not engage on the CP reg. I have to screw on the reg with the ASA engaged, and i can degas fine but cant reengage or gas up. I read that it may be due to the "shorter pins". Is there a solution to this?

ok so i have a 68/4500 cp tank with a 08/07 manufa. date
first question...is it a 3 or 5 yeard hydro??
2nd question.....what's the best way to remove the reg for hydro testing??
reason being my local scuba shop/koorsen fire and security shop WILL NOT take my regulator off. I myself i have never un-screwed a reg from a tank so im not confident at all in doing it but i guess i have to. So how do i go about doing it?? Tools, straps,...what would i need and how do i need to apply them and work them correctly. Also like where and how to apply the wrench/pressure to screw the reg off, not to mention how to screw it back on correctly. Reason they said they wouldnt take my reg off i because there is no "flat spot" on the reg to wrench it off safely?? But to me almost every reg...even today...is mosly round. The koorsen guys looked at the slot's/teardrop grooves going down the reg all around it and told me that a "special tool" was ment to get in thoes groves liek a wrench and take it off?? I thought it was b/s and told them that i was sure they were just there for syle/design so we had to disagree on that.
Hope i can get some help or pointed in the right direction...thanks.

A strap wrench and some muscle. Manufactures locktite the regs from the factory so you need to break that seal by hand

Remove the fill nipple and the tank gauge and use a strap wrench and it will come off it's Loctite on.

I went to fill up my CP 48/4500 this past weekend and as soon as it got a little bit of air in it, the burst disk blew. I just too it out and was going to replace it when I noticed the old one didn't have a rating. It has a 7.5K in the reg that is good, it's the other one that blew. I have a 1.8K and 5K burst disk in my parts box. Will either of those work?
Edit: Anyone? I need a tank for this Saturday

I heard somewhere that my CP tank reg has a lifetime warranty. My tank reg is leaking and I'm not able to get it apart. Is it true about the warranty? Would I be able to send it in and have the reg rebuilt?
