Thoughts on #redsunday
I paid the $4.99.....twice actually.....
I think they got the download issues fixed.
Felt like this was the first time I was watching a paintball movie. It was different than other videos.
This was the most open the Vicious organization has ever been to the public. I thought the players did a great job in the interviews.
It made me think about all the time that is spent on paintball in a year. It didn't even cover things like playing the UWL, running the Vicious Series and all of the other tournaments we have a hand in running.
Still very proud of everyone involved in running the Vicious/DSS program.
Glad to see our players having fun again.

It's very good. I think any team who has seen success on any level and then struggled moving up can take a lot away from it.
I really enjoyed how lighthearted it was, even though some of it was jokes a lot of people outside the program may not get (but part of that made people watching maybe feel more a part of the organization). Shane going into how he got a good grade in a 102-level writing course and that means he's now going to send a letter to Nike about a sponsorship is pretty funny. That shows a side of the team maybe most don't see.
Mostly though, I thought Dan did a great job showing how it was the friendship that brought the team through this. No matter what happend to the team after Chicago 2011, they would have been friends. It's like no matter what happened on the field, they had each others back to the end.
I was surprised they didn't go more into the UWL, but I'm thinking thats a combination of Dan probably not having the footage, the PSP just being the more visable series, and time. I believe the UWL did a lot for Vicious as a whole. The biggest part being that it reminded Vicious what it's like to win and how to win. The UWL was a huge part of the last year and it's something that will be huge into the future (I hope... UWL is fun).
Overall, it's great and worth the $5.

I thought it was a great video overall. I liked how focused they were on the organization itself and the relationships amongst the players because that is what this organization is all about from what I have experienced this year. We are a very close knit organization that is very supportive of one another, and no matter how we do at events we always stick together and help each other get through it, and in return push one another at practices in order to get better for the next event. I think the video did a great job showing this and not focusing so much on them playing at every event like a lot of the other eclipse videos. It also focused a lot on how much heart the players put into the sport and how they truly have fun playing and do anything they can to play such as playing in the NCPA and UWL. This was def. unlike any other PE video that is out there right now. I hope another video like this comes out in the near future.

thanks for the kind words and taking the time to comment!!
Absolutely-this could have easily been two hours long! lol Delving more into the Vicious and the UWL.
The UWL was tricky, Matt & I, and Ledz & I discussed it, and it was more of a storytelling decision...also combined with the fact that the one UWL we did film was the one event Vicious skipped...lol...but we thought it kinda further complicated the story, especially to a casual viewer. Its like "wait. What's this? It looks totally different..." and now we are obligated to explain a bit of woodsball, ect, to the audience.
We love Tom Cole and commend what he's doing with the UWL, so we no way meant to slight his league, and hope nobody takes the exclusion that way.
thanks for watching!

So basically, we said "F you Tom Cole" and kind of ran with it. So ya, "F You Tom!"

I really liked it. It was really good. Watched it a few times already and even saw it in the car, on the way to event #3 with teammates.

Was already a Vicious fan before I watched this, but I have so much more respect for you guys after watching Red Sunday. You guys better be working hard because I wanna see a win in the 2013 season. Definitely more than capable of it and it has to come soon.
