But map control is a reflection of the skill of the team. If a team is able to control the map, they know it better and they deserve to win.

My favorite game modes are big team slayer and dominion.
Anyone else disappointed that they didn't bring back Arena or grifball?

I've destroyed dozens of mechs.
I'm usually the first one to the spartan laser, and destroy the enemy mantis and banshee the moment I grab it. It only takes about 2 lasers to kill a mech. The railgun and rocket launcher work really good as well. Or just don't suck and don't shoot at it with ****ty guns until you're right behind it to hijack it or cover it with grenades.
I've noticed people in mechs tend to stay by the crashed ship next to the hill in the center, or to the other side of the map where the mounted machine gun is. The former is easy to ambush, but the latter you pretty much just have to hope you can ignore it until you get an ordinance.
They turn really slowly, so wait until they're distracted with a sweeter target, and make your move then.

Dominion and Capture the Flag are by far my favorite game modes. I had some awesome fun on Dominion tonight, we won about 8 games in a row.
