My team just won a couple luxes and I'm not sure what version they are. I did hear that the last team to win them in the tournament series received 1.5 boards in a 2.0. I'm going to check them out this weekend and would like to know what to look for.

Easiest way to tell is the eye covers. 2.0 will have black latches on the eye covers. 1.5 will not have the latches and has holes in the eye covers.

1.5 has screws in the eye covers
2.0 has latches on the eye covers , also new 2.0 board and 2.0 powercores

you can also go in programming mode and go to software version. a team i know won 1.9 luxes. thats 2.0 everything but the board. the board was flashed to 1.9

luxe never produced a 1.9 , that is totally made up by people trying to make there gun sound newer. so what do you call the luxe i have in sig that is a 1.0 with 2.0 board, 2.0 powercore, and 2.0 eyes??? its still a 1.0 just has upgrades. luxe put out 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0. just because u put upgrades on a luxe doesnt make it a different or newer model

Ok, I think I have a 2.0 lux with a 1.5 board then. The board is dark deep blue, and the software version says 1.19.

The power core looks like the one in the above picture as far as I can tell, would there be an obvious thing to look for?

And it does have the 2.0 eyes

My directions say 2.0, and the case come with a usb cord, but it specifically says not to plug a 1.5 into the computer, so I guess I wont use the usb plug

Is there any reason to upgrade the board from 1.5 to 2.0?

its a 2.0 but why would they put a 1.5 board in it? 2.0's comes stock with the 2.0 boards

sorry i think that is a 2.0 board they are the same color as 1.5 boards

I have a 1.5 and recently bought a 2.0 board from Chad Yaya and the board is black, also the fimware version is 3.10

The whole Geo crowd started this fad with the "1.5's, 1.9's, 2.05" lol prob even more geo "versions" im missing.

yep, it is definitely a 1.5 board. Thats weird because all the manuals that came with it say 2.0. It does not say welcome to the luxe experience when turned on. Just says "powering on, battery level, and mode"

I will suggest to call DLX and tell them your issue. DLX has a great costumer service so maybe they can do something about it. But i dont think there are major differences between the 1.5 and the 2.0 board. I bought mine because the 1.5 wouldn't charge the battery.
