So I have been having a really hard time finding a marker to settle down with so to speak. I'm a huge gun whore but I really just want a marker that I will keep for at least a whole season...
As of now, I have a demon, and a just purchased Vapor coming in. Does the luxe beat all the other newer high end markers out there. Main ones Being the Vapor, 2013 demon, clone Gt etc? Is it really the best?
Essentially I just want opinions on why or why not you think it is or isn't the best.

Well in all honesty from your post I think you're missing the point you are trying to reach.
Try all the high ends and decide for yourself, it doesn't really matter what other people think, it's about what YOU like.
And since you're a gun whore, try them all and then make your decision. Sounds like you are well on your way

I have tried the GT, Luxe, GEO 2.1 (not a 3 unfortunately but done a lot of reading and research on it), G6R 2k12, Ripper, and have read about/gathered information on most markers to some degree.
The luxe to me can not be beat in comfort, customer service (if you are keeping it), resale is on par or above with all highends (for your gun whoring), the shot is smooth and quiet, the board is fully customizable with your tones through the USB with a 2.0 board, and in all honesty it looks fantastic.
Your downsides will be that the efficiency is not with that of a GT or Demon, you have to actually maintain it (not an issue for you I assume) and in the cold you may have to do some setting adjustments. Minor details and not that bad.

it all comes down to what you like, IMO its the new yard stick when it comes to paintball guns. every gun is compared to the LUXE, weather it be its shot or the ergonomics. i have a broken in GEO3 and on the softest setting my 1.0 still shoots better, and feels better. while there are lighter guns out there and some very good looking guns the simplicity of the LUXE IMO makes it the KING of the paintball guns everything is compared to it. weather it be the new DM or GEO or whatever comes out the LUXE is always brought up when talking about a "new gun".

True, I owned a Luxe 1.0 way back when and it was actually the hardest for me to let go when I did. Only reason I sold it was because I got 1000$ out of it and that's literally the only reason. I think I am indeed going to be getting one again. I currently have a Vapor and definitely plan on trading it for one.

hands down luxe is topdog in paintball, i have toyed around with all the highends, gt, luxe, csl, geo3, and vapor, the only one close to the luxe is vapor, vapor is my second go to marker. the both feel and shoot well. i can't explain but it seems like i take over the field when im shooting my luxe, and other luxe owner will say the same. and u gotta love a marker from 2008 (1.0) thats still has a higher resale value than most markers on the market( nt11,dm12,ego11,geo 2.1, v2 victory, i've had offers with these markers adding cash for my 1.0

The luxe is a fantastic marker, I have owned more than I probably needed to in my time, and it has always been the gun I enjoy shooting...BUT, and this is totally my preference, the clone gt is the best spoolie out right now. They shoot smoother than most luxes, are super quiet, and the efficiency is superb. They are comfortable in the hand, have all the bells and whistles, and are super super reliable. I mean I love luxes, and I currently own one and probably wont get rid of it, but the guys over at Macdev really have made the best shooting spoole valve i believe.

I honestly believe the Luxe is the best marker available right now for several reasons. I've shot just about every high end marker and I don't think anything else is as smooth and consistent as the Luxe. The ergonomics of the marker are also outstanding. It feels extremely comfortable and natural to use. The finish and quality of the Luxe marker are also top notch. You will be hard pressed to find a marker with such high quality, reliability, and holds its resale value so well. Try and find another similar marker from 2008 that sells for $700-$800.

This. End thread, there are nice things to be said about nearly every high end spoolie as they all have their strengths. Shoot them all and decide what you like best. And enjoy whatever you shoot, life is too short to not be happy with your marker.

You actually have two or are getting two of the high ends i have never shoot. but in terms of the demon my team mate traded a luxe for 2012 demon and he he sold his demon and went back to a luxe very quickly. The luxe is smooth, quite, and amazingly comfortable. It has been my favorite gun sense i got my first one in 2009 and has been the only gun for me to make it thru a season witch u want to do. IMO its the best spool ive ever shoot, so i'm going to say yes buy a luxe. plus they have good resale so when ur inner gun whore come back out you can trade or sell it for another marker.

many have already said it and it just matters what you like because people can come in here telling you no a n is better, no a gt is better, no a geo is better, etc. and thats because its what they like.. just go after your preferences and see exactly what you like... and if your a gun whore as myself then really it will only be a matter of time before something else gets you after it

Isnt the vapor basically a luxe clone?
Id like to try a clone gt, they seem like they shoot pretty well.
I am pretty happy with my luxe, feels great in the hands.
