dm 12 eye pipe question
how long do the dm 12 eye pipes usually last?

as long as your barrel has a oring on it before you screw it on and you dont crank down your barrel, it will last you forever.. just replacing detents every 20k shots

20 bucks for eyepipe/detent system..
u'd have to call dye for just a detent, cause I cant find them online. or if you buy a med parts kit it has 10 of them with two eye pipes

what size oring should be put on the barrel? and is this necessary for all barrels or just UL?

Even if you are careful with screwing your barrel on, they don't last forever. But they can easily last a full season.

u only really need the oring on the barrel if ur shooting a dye gun cause of the eye pipe. If u screw it on to tight without a oring the eye pipe can crack over time

Really though, it is just any o-ring that fits. Whatever spare you have on hand and can stretch over the barrel back will be fine.

Because there is no best answer.
Whatever spare oring you have that fits over the barrel back without breaking is the one you'll want.

I aggree. It, definitely, isn't rocket science... it doesn't need to be a specific size, it's not like you are ACTUALLY sealing anything, you just want to add a little buffer between the barrel and the body, that's all.
