I've been smoking for 5 yrs, Earlier this year I decided I was going to make my own cigarettes and save money. I can now make a carton for around $7. Compared to $6 for a pack.

Anybody else do this? If so share what tobaccos you like.

well what I do is technically not rolling, Its injecting into empty tubes so the term for it is MYO.

I cant hand roll for ****.

I do the same thing, but how the hell do you make a carton for 7 bucks? I definitely save money, but not that much.

oh that's what you're talking about. theres a place around me that rolls their own and sells them for $20 a carton. they let you pick the tobacco also.

I buy dual purpose tobacco that is labeled as pipe tobacco, I order it online its around $13 a lb and I get around 3 cartons out of 1 lb.

now it makes sense. I just buy the small packs of bugler tobacco that go for around 4 bucks (i get about 25 cigs out of it). I don't smoke as much as I use too, so it works for me. One pack will last me at least 3 days. I used to be a pack a day smoker for 4 years, but cut down a **** load in the past 6 months.

You have to add in the price for the tubes. They are $2.50-$3

The difference in the tobacco i use is it is cut slightly thicker, its labeled as pipe tobacco so it is taxes a $1.03 a lb compared to cigarette tobacco that is taxed at $16.00 a lb

Use Indian spirit blue tobacco.

My dad does. He gets these gigantic packs of tubes and gets tobacco as he needs it. He could smoke like a fiend for cheap if he wanted to.
