G6R is not shooting over 260fps no matter what I try. Please help!!!

I've tried everything from new batteries, a rebuild, replaced the one hose in the whole marker, stock reset, lurker method, etc... I haven't broken down the noid or broke the whole marker down to parade rest and putting the individual parts (minus the electronics) through the wash and a bath in my ultrasonic parts cleaner. I'm the second owner of this G6R (the board has PSP3, by the way if it helps any) and I haven't had any problems until a couple of months ago. I've put at least 20 cases on the o-rings that came with the marker and it was well broken-in. I don't feel like sending it to BLAST because i'm a cheap bastard, I will if I have to.

Any help will be appreciated, but please don't be an *** and tell me to read the manual... I've done that enough with every marker I've owned, I read manuals when i'm bored.

I assume you have used dow55, so just double checking.

I'm starting to lean toward a solenoid replacement if your pressures are that high, and can't get past 260

how much are those? i'm going to try to clean the inside first. i'm going to assume that i don't have a warranty from BLAST for my G6R.

If it was me, I would double check everything you have done already(all orings replaced, shims stacks in the right order, everything) if that doesnt fix it I would dive further into the gun and make sure that there is nothing blocking air in any of the passages, and I would dissemble the noid and make sure that it is lubbed and clean. Once back together I would reset all regs and set your pressures to what they came to you at. If that doesnt fix it than Blast would be my next step. You could always call and see what they have to say as well, Matt is a great guy to talk to.

Have you tried with a different tank?

I also assume you are using the correct lube?

Dwell is set to 6?

If you've taken apart a BL noid before the G6R is the same as every other noid from gen 3 onward if memory serves so that might be worth doing.

Make sure the gun has no leaks. My was doing something similar. It had the slightest leak between the two halves of the main body. I couldn't hear it unless I put the gun beside my ear in a very quiet room. I changed the oring and used the proper lube and the problem was fixed.

Replace orings on your ram, especially if you've gone through 20 cases. These are VERY important (especially the rear one) as they dictate how well your ram moves. Additionally, you won't know if the rear one is worn out at rest because there is no air back there to leak. A worn rear oring will manifest itself as a slow moving ram or low velocity.

You may also be past the sweet spot on your reg. If the pressure is too high, your poppet will "fight back" against the ram and not open fully. Put your LPR at 75-80 and your HPR to 150 and go up from there.
