Leaving air in a HPA tank

I'm new to HPA. Just wondering if leaving air in my tank is ok. I usually only play once a month.
Just want to make sure I don't do any damage to my tank.
Thanks ahead for any info I get.

Leaving some (< ~300 psi) is actually good for your tank in that it prohibits anything like dust or, more importantly, moisture from getting into your tank. Leaving very high pressure over a long time does put unnessary stress on the regulator's internals. If you are using it once a month or so, you're fine with even leaving it full for that duration. However, if you were only getting out twice a year (for example), I would recommend draining all but the last few hundred psi out.

Never had a problem with long term storage of full tanks. I don't see what there really is to get "stressed" much less more when there's higher pressure.

I have a couple tanks that were full for years, no issues. Nothing inside to wear out.

I have had 2 crossfire tanks, one with the old style reg and now one with the newer stealth reg and both have leaked all of the air out of them if left with any sort of pressure in them. The stealth reg was literally rebuilt, aired up, used to 2000 psi then left in my gearbag. Two days later it was empty...

Long story short it is probably best to degas your tank if you dont plan on using it within a week or 2 of its last fill, or just do it after every day of play as a fill is cheap.

When hydrotested a tank is pumped 5/3 of the rating of the tank pressure, almost double. Leaving a tank full will not damage the tank.
