2013 schedule???
Does anyone know when the release date for the upcoming season will be? Im trying to plan the upcoming season. Thanks ahead of time for the help.

they usually release the dates a week before the event when the release the layout. instead of giving teams time to plan for travel the just announce it last minute lol
|

^Pretty much lol. Hopefully they're a bit more ahead of things and announce the dates sooner than usual.

Last year PSP announced the dates for the complete season in December.

Here's what you do....Go to March, April, June, August, October....(assuming they have 5 events again) write down all of the weekend dates Fri-Sun.... accommodating that 4th day for Chicago and World Cup Thurs-Sun....and there ya have it the events will 100% be on one of those weekends you chose... Congratulations.

Phoenix-April 19th-21st
Chicago-June 20th- 23rd
MAO- August 9th-11th/16th-18th
World Cup- October 24th-27th
Those would be my best tentative dates... |

You mean the layouts? The dates were out long before the events

He's talking about how they moved New Jersey to Maryland like a week or two before the event. Maybe it was a month lol idk!

It was right at a month away... Our team literally booked our hotels an hour before we got the email from PSP. But everything worked out in the end... Hopefully they go back to 4 events, and release the schedule soon!

For people that actually have jobs... I end up using all of or the majority of my vacation time at work to play events... I know many of my teammates are the same way... By the time u fly in on Thursday afternoon, most of the time u have to take 2-3 days vacation per event... For some people that only have 2 weeks vacation, that is their entire year to play events. Make Sunday and u don't get back till Monday or crazy late Sunday night... If I was still in school or something, I'd say have 10 events, but that's not the case. |

IMO, 4 events is ideal. For those of us who have started their careers and have a specified amount of vacation time to work with, as well as project deadlines and other vacation black outs, 5 is pushing it.
With that said, if 5 events is better for the league, than that is what should be done. If a career is making 5 events difficult, we may just have to prioritize which events we attend. Such is life.

Agreed. Personally, I don't have a problem with the number of events as opposed to the short notification of the dates. Yes, I understand that they want to finish this season before moving onto the next, but I have already chosen my vacation dates and schedule for Jan-Jun, and changing vacations days around is a nightmare. |

LA open (where it was in 2007)
PHX (the grass could be used for putting in the PGA)
Chicago (Obvisouly)
MAO (where it was last year at oxcc)
Orlando (at the wide world of sports complex, last cup help there was in 2008)
