Rapper pressure

I can't get my rapper to shoot over 250-260. When I put the tester in it reads 80lpr and 300 hpr. And that was shooting at 250-260.

HPR is over-pressurized. Lower HPR to 150. slowly raise it over a chrono

MY GUN WON'T SHOOT ABOVE 200\220\240\260!!
Couple of things to check here. Is your vertical regulator lubricated and its seals in good condition? What are your pressures at? (They should be 230 on the vertical\inline\HP, and 80psi for the LPR) If none of that fixes it, remove your engine. Drag an oring pick through the groove in the rear of the interior of your Marq. Did it have debris\oring chunks in it? If so, replace the outer engine orings. Still doesn't fix it? Consider replacing your poppet, especially if it's an older marker...they get worn. Also, verify that the holes on your engine are correctly aligned..they should look like THIS.

ok for a sc engine, 300hpr is extremely high. Obviously gonna need a good paint to bore match, and fresh battery

Do you honestly set the HPR to 150? then slowly raise it while shooting over a chronograph?

this. were not being smartasses, but if theres too much pressure in front of the valve then it wont open all the way when the ram/bolt hits it.

SC should be around 180-210 HPR, 70-80 LPR. 300 PSI is waaaaaay past the sweet spot and likely part of your problem.

Every time that happened to me with my Marq dragging the rear channel with an oring pick fixed it. I was so bad at putting the engine back into my Marq 6 I'd slice the orings all the time and the bits would get stuck in that slot.
