I didn't pay to play, I just played till I got to level 15 and then quit playing till the free to play came out.

So then I should be able to use the character?

Even if it is free to play, I don't see myself returning to this abortion they call an MMO. It is so stale and lacking in anything creative and ends up being a tedious thing to do. I enjoyed it for a few months, but I would have enjoyed a single-player KOTOR3 just as much.

Is there a business angle to going to F2P? Seems like they will continue to hemorage money worse than if they just walked away from it. Are there going to be a ton of ads in game or something?
