I have never owned a Dye marker but I was considering a DM12 purchase. I see that the MAP price on a new DM12 went down due to the arrival of the DM13. What has the trend been over the years with the price of the previous year model? Does it continue to drop?

Well I picked up a new private party DM12 in tiger lime green for $725 with an empire prophecy and dye knee pads but the guy needed money. When i talked with the guy at Golden state sports, he said that they usually drop to about $800-$900 when the next year's model comes out. After that, you usually can't find a brand new 2 year old DM. However used 2 year old DMs are usually anywhere from $400 upto whatever someone can get for them. Good luck. I still haven't had time to take my DM12 to the field and I am just itching to shoot someone with it.

DM's drop drastically in price with each new release. You can pick up a nice dm9 for $400 or less now that the dm13 is out. DM10 should be around $500 and add or subtract $100 roughly for each year and that will give you the value. Also consider upgrades.

The prices on the dm7-12's go up and down every year.. the dm12's will go back up in price eventually. seeing as the 13 is the same thing minus a new paint job

I just bought one off here for 660. You can find them between 650-850, it just depends.
