Chicago indoor
Hey, I'm looking for a place to practice this winter. Are there any Chicago indoor fields with a current or very recent PSP field? I already scanned through the index, any input will be appreciated.

I don't like o'hare, it's really narrow. Also they change the field from speedball to some scenario ****.
CLP is your best bet for a solid speedball field.

They haven't changed it to the scenario crap in a long time, just FYI.

Yeah sure when they decide to clean off or even fill up the bunkers. PBX is a pretty nice field.

Every field is going to have its good and its bads. None of our indoor fields are perfect.
PBX nice lighting pretty clean not regulation size
Ohare nice lighting very clean no regulation size has beams in the middle of the field and pricey
CLP Bad lighting not to clean but not really dirty either. IS regulation size and has the best competition around.
It all depends on what you value most from practice.

I value the competition and the place being up to par to even play at which includes aired up bunkers. I could give a **** less about it being a little dirty. I don't mind it but if I'm playing there I want some bunkers to be able to get behind. I'm sure others can vouch for that. Last time I checked none of the current team plays at CLP. Thanks though. I was there in early February and the place was tore up.

O'Hare is much cleaner than any of the other fields above, and no the scenario bunkers have not been up for over a year, and they will never be up again. Also, they are running some awesome specials- $55 case, entry, air on thursday and friday nights!!

Did they fix that since last winter? I could have sworn that they were a little short. Still, it's definitely closer to size than the other options.

Like others have mentioned, all have their up and downs, personally never been the CLP.
PBX has crappy turf. Super wet.
Ohare has beams and is small.
Personally I go to Ohare in the winter and i've lately been doing the Thursday night options. Pretty nice guys that go there and it's 55 + tax for a case and entry, so it's the same as the basically.
