2.0 Core Spring Compatible w/Rhino Spring Modded Bolt?

I havnt seen a 2.0 core in person yet but was simply wondering if a bolt previously modified for the rhino spring would be compatible with the 2.0 core/spring combo?

Is the actual spring size at the base the same or is it setup a bit differently?

I was looking to compare the 2.0 core, 1.0 core, and fully pooty polished core but want to know if my modified stock bolt, ndz bolt, kilo bolt etc will be compatible with the 2.0 stock spring/core. Id imagine it would be but just want to be certain as the pics of the new core are limited from what ive found however the spring does appear to be smaller.

Thanks

No the spring in the 2.0 core is designed complete different than pooty or others have done by boring out and slapping a spring in.

The 2.0 spring is on the tip of the guide. If you remove this spring and add a spring modded bolt with a Rhino spring, what you get is a standard, run of the mill, sprung setup.

I have a hard problem with not messing with things haha. I like to tinker and make the quietest/smoothest shot possible.

Thats what i hear, i just wanna be running the ft screw for a while, i miss how super quiet it shot with it installed but cant for the life of me get it running w/the sprung setup at the moment. The nox bolt also smoothens the marker out quite a bit and made it even more quiet so the combo would be nice but back to tinkering!

Might simply try running no spring w/ft/nox kilo/lp can & guide and tinker w/oring combo's a bit.

2.0 core, FT in, and tune the manifold screw.

I just put the 2.0 bolt in saturday, dwell is at 12, FT in and manifold screw is at 1.5 turns in. Amazing. Once I get more paint thru it then I'll mess with the manifold screw and dwell more but as it sits right now it's smooth and quiet.

1.5 is from flush. Flush is where the screw is even with the housing. So once you have the screw flat with the body, you turn it 1 full time, then half a full turn.

This is almost exactly my experience upgrading to the 2.0 core, except I keep my dwell at 16 for consistency (especially as the weather gets colder). I was immediately able to install the FT and turn my manifold screw in 1.5 turns. After shooting several cases, I screwed the manifold in 3 turns from flush and it is shooting very nicely.

I was gonna run it at 16 to be safe, but my friends 2.0 came at 12 so I figured I'd try it. Worked amazing and didn't skip a beat. Living in SoCal kinda gives me the luxury of not having to deal with the super cold that could cause FSDO.

FT screw vs. Manifold screw. Whats the difference?

FT screw is either in or out, slows the bolts forward motion making it a softer and quieter shot. Manifold screw can be adjusted from flush down to all the way in, reduces "kick".
